Short instructions for your (pitch) presentation and/or poster

Presentation

• 15 minutes max, with additional 5 minutes question/discussion round.
• Your presentation has to be comprehensible for all of your colleagues, also those with a different scientific background.

Poster

• The poster shows the aim of your project and the progress you’ve made.
• The MCEC logo has to be featured on your poster.

Pitch Presentation (by invitation, for new PhDs only)

• 5 minutes max, with additional 5 minutes question round.
• Your presentation has to be comprehensible for all of your colleagues, also those with a different scientific background.
• Your PowerPoint (MCEC template, format 4:3) should contain 4 slides:
  • context of your project
  • desired end goals
  • any results so far
  • current challenges and how to handle them
• A supplementary poster is welcome, but optional.
• Submit your pitch presentation before 3 April, 9.00 hours.
• Bring a backup of your presentation with you to the Annual Meeting.
